So many folks suffer from eczema these days. I am a life-long victim of this particular irritation - it’s the reason behind the creation of StouderHouse. It was one thing for me to have eczema, but when my children began showing signs of it, I was inspired to really study it. I’ve been making soap and crafting recipes for almost 20 years now and have developed an entire line of products to provide my family with healthy, chemical-free, irritation-free products. We hope that using StouderHouse products will help you find relief as well.
Here are some tips that might help those suffering from eczema. Know your triggers. Eczema is your body’s reaction to something it doesn’t like. Your trigger could be internal (foods, supplements, etc) or external (pets, laundry soap, clothing, grass, pool chlorine, etc) - and may be related to a gut flora imbalance (incorporate a couple of tablespoons of Greek yogurt into your daily routine). You may have multiple triggers….stress is also common one. Eliminate suspects from your routine one at a time and make note of the dates of the changes and the results. The first item I would suggest removing is chemical soaps and shampoos - stop using all liquid cleansers and commercial hand sanitizers. These are not only triggers for many people, they are irritants to the sensitive eczema-covered skin.
