Why no tubes? Toothpaste tubes are available in two varieties: plastic and aluminum. We package our toothpaste in glass jars. Our original, handcrafted toothpaste recipe contains calcium bentonite clay to draw toxins away from your teeth and gums and leave calcium instead. Toothpaste is wet, therefore the clay is activated (read our mask blog for a similar explanation - https://www.stouderhouse.com/blogs/news/why-our-masks-are-dry-powders-that-you-mix-as-you-need-them). If we package the toothpaste in plastic or aluminum, the clay will busy itself drawing toxins from the container and be spent by the time you purchase it. To give you maximum natural product performance, we will continue to use the glass jars. The best method of use is to dip the end of your dry brush into the jar, THEN wet your brush.
