The good Lord had me in the wilderness, standing right in front of the gates of hell for the better part of five years. I like to think, like Job, my name came up in conversation, and He told the devil I would be a faithful servant to Him regardless of the torment Satan inflicted. I believe the torment Satan wanted to inflict was due to the book, God’s Plan Simplified, that I was researching and writing at the time. I believe he was trying to shut me down and stop the message from being spread. Maybe that’s true, or maybe I just needed a lot of education and improvement. Either way, I’ve received quite the education, and I’m trying to apply it.

Having no idea of the extent to which I was being tested, a friend texted me out of the blue one day and told me she’d received a message that I was to make anointing oil. I had knowledge of its Biblical use, but no experience whatsoever in modern day personal use. There is a recipe in the OT, but God specifically forbids the personal use of His recipe. After conducting research, I decided to use olive oil due to its Biblical relevance and the essential oils mentioned in the NT as being given to or used on Jesus. Assuming others might be as inexperienced as I was, I felt led to include a card with information and suggestions for getting started. When I finished making them, I met with this friend and we prayed over the oil packets, unsure of just exactly what God wanted us to do with them.

Since that time in late summer 2023, so many things have happened! I can honestly say I’m not sure I would have gotten where God needed me to be without that oil. The calling to make it ultimately made it possible for me to pray a prayer I had been avoiding for many, many years – mostly because I didn’t feel like I could pray it with sincerity. That prayer then led to a spectacular series of events that allowed me to see and hear the spiritual war through the veil on several occasions and finally swooped me away from the gates of hell where I had been holding up my shield of faith for so very long – praise God!!! 

A couple, who are longtime friends of my in-laws, knows the details of my story, and they’ve been very selectively handing these oil packets out since just after I began to make them. It has radically changed more lives than mine and brought forward the knowledge of the urgent need for Christians everywhere to not only use the shield for protection, but to pick up all the armor God has given us and engage with strong, urgent, spoken (out loud) prayers in the spiritual war that is obviously intensifying. I am humbled and joyful to report that, through this couple, in 5 short months, the oil packets had been distributed in 19 countries around the world and counting – and this couple hasn’t even left our state. They have continued to distribute them carefully and faithfully.

I can’t include all the details of my story here, but please read this prayer God gave Moses to give the priests. When the people came to them, the priests were to pray this over them. Consider this a personal prayer for you from our family:

May the LORD bless you and keep you.

May the LORD smile down on you and show you His kindness.

May the LORD answer your prayers and give you peace.
