We use no stabilizers or other chemicals to help this product retain its texture. Our Shave Butter needs to remain at room temperature to stay "fluffy". If it overheats, it will melt and deflate - still good to use, just not as much fun. (I am currently using a deflated one as moisturizer for my feet.) If you purchase this product during a short stretch of hot weather, we will ship it with reusable dry ice packs.
