This workbook is intended to serve two purposes in one simple step: practice in any form of penmanship and memorization of Bible verses. Each assignment should take no more than 5 - 10 minutes each day. The verses are from the King James Version of the Bible. The level corresponds to school grade levels, and the subjects and verses increase in complication and length as the levels increase. Space is provided for the student to copy a verse once each day beginning on Monday. The student is to recite the verse on Friday for a grade. There are six topics with six verses each. Copying each verse for one week provides enough material for a school year of 180 days.

A 3-ring binder is recommended for the storage and use of the workbook. These allow the greatest ease of writing while still keeping the pages in order. A divider works well to mark the beginning of each unit, as all the verses for that six week period are listed on one page.
